Looking for vessels now for potential passages later on

slaptop: I'm just a man, straight and interested in all things sailing, including repair, maintenance and systems. I favour a catamaran for myself, but happy in a mono-hull too.

In rare spare time, I currently skipper a Fountaine Pajot Mahe 36 catamaran that I have shared use of, in and around the Solent and Isle of Wight. I'm looking to get some more formal training and consolidation locally before finding something further afield to do in 2018's season.

Fit and healthy (OK healthy), most components are in full working order (brain excluded).
I'm an easy going, straight, IT Systems Architect/Engineer,so I have good technical acumen and can "make a reasonable fist" of running repairs and instrumentation failures.

Better at washing up, I can cook simple things with widely varying success, but I am always happy to try to give some respite to crew members unfortunate enough to be blighted with real culinary skills.

I like people and fun and very easy going, I mentor without belittling and I hope for the same from above.
Diplomatic, I believe I'm trustworthy with a generous big brotherly shoulder/empathy. I try not to be boring but usually fail. I am not musical and pants at jokes. I'm not vegetarian and have no allergies, no piercings, and no tattoos. As I said, boring.

Hoping to gain new friends, experience longer passages and learn ocean craft from skilled others.

After that I hope to buy and live on my own boat, currently that will be a production Cat.

Hope that's enough. Any questions, please do, just ask.

Oh...and my passport is British, runs to 2022 and sadly soon to be less Europe accessible because of BREXIT.

Natasha1756: Traveller looking to get some sea miles to eventually start a career in sailing. In the mean time just want to travel wherever I can, while I can. I love the ocean and have spent every summer since I can remember out sailing the bay of islands in New Zealand with my family.

A kindhearted freediver wishes to join a fun crew to share experiences

DianaBaz: I create websites and love traveling, adventures and the outdoors. I am flexible with work and would love to free some time and learn some sailing this summer, share some great experiences with like minded people, get a sense of the lifestyle and maybe buy a boat someday in the future. I would be happy to help with whatever I can on board or teach some of my skills.

I follow a lot of sailing vlogs on youtube and I am currently supporting two of my favorite ones on Patreon.com - SV Delos and SV La Vagabonde.

Have a great love for the ocean, and like to keep myself active in water environment doing freediving, open water swimming, started to learn spearfishing, Scuba certified and occasional wakeboard rider :)

I also love creating photo stories and videos, have done underwater video projects for diving schools and museums. So, if you wanna start or need help with your youtube channel, I can help with that!

Personality-wise I am a kindhearted, emphatic, positive attitude person.

If you feel like we might be a good fit, lets talk!

When not near water, I love to go hiking, snowboarding, explore cultures, people and places, learn new things, etc.

I try to live a healthy but yet exciting lifestyle.

I am also open to paid positions, have experience in hospitality and business in a multicultural environment, can lead snorkeling tours, teach people how to feel comfortable in the water, optimise your website or marketing communication, shoot and edit adventure movies, etc.

Eduardocd: I'm a brazilian 28 years old guy who lives in Germany and wants to get into the world of Sailing. I have a minor experience with sailing small boats such as Laser and Hobby Cat, but nothig very relevant, therefore I look for temporary position in a boat with the objective of learning.

I'm more than available to share all tasks with the other crew members and I'm sure I can be helpfull specially with mechanics, electrics, sailing and preparing food. I never got sick in a boat and I have no problems with seafood. No problems also with pets.

Due to my current work I have limited time, maximum 4 weeks per year, to spend in the travels.
